Stuart House by the Bay Bed & Breakfast
Stuart House by the Bay Bed and Breakfast (formally called Goodwin's Chat and Chew Bed and Breakfast ) is the gateway to Nova Scotia. We are located along the Sunrise Trail, Coastal Route, Rte 366 - a scenic coastal route along the Northumberland Strait. Enjoy the fresh sea breeze out on the front screened in veranda. As a guest once pointed out "On a clear day you can sometimes see PEI and NB while you are sitting in Nova Scotia." Our central location is great for day trips.
Watch the ever changing tides while walking on the nearby beach which is only a 4 minute walk down a cottage lane. Check out the sunsets that are just as beautiful as the sunrises.
After a good night's sleep wake up to a delicious breakfast in the dining room. During the summer months, the choice of berries available for breakfast vary. Strawberries ripen first (end of June- beginning of July) and then raspberries are always plentiful from the many bushes located next to the vegetable garden. Late in the summer the blueberries add color and sweet taste to the homecooked muffins.
The hummingbird feeders are conveniently located by the dining room windows and they are usually quite entertaining during breakfast.
