Experience an enjoyable stay in our century-old home. Built in the mid-1800's, it was, for many years, operated as a hotel by Carole's grandparents. It has been beautifully renovated to retain the old Victorian charm but with modern facilities. We are within walking distance of the ocean, which is famous for the highest tides in the world. Enjoy Thomas' Cove Reserve walking trails, clamming, bird watching, and shopping for handmade crafts in a peaceful rural setting. Visit the Cobequid Interpretation Centre and World War II Observation Tower. We offer 2 lovely bedrooms (1 with twin beds and ensuite full bath, 1 with a double bed and full bath). Private guest living room with TV/VCR, ceiling fans, and full home-cooked breakfast on the sunporch (in season). We are located on the Glooscap Trail, Rte. 2, halfway between Glenholme and Parrsborro, along the Cobequid Shore, Exit 12 off Hwy. 104 from Halifax.
