A one third mile country lane leads you to the Clayton Farm house (c.1855) from Rte.19 just south of Mabou Village. Our spacious, comfortable "historic property farmhouse" is shaded by two huge linden trees. Filled with antiques and complete with a verandah view that rivals any postcard, we offer a restful quiet night in a setting of incredible beauty. This 5th generation 185 acre penisula farm is home to a herd of registered Red Angus beef cattle known as the Ceilidh Trail Angus. Come walk the paths or private coastal shoreline. You may observe from the farmhouse a pair of eagles flying to and from their nest in the large old pine tree. Full course breakfast. Large bright bedrooms.
